Ruth Shedwick
Ruth Shedwick graduated from Liverpool John Moores University with a degree in Environmental Planning. Her passion for the natural environment and love for creatures great and small is evident in her writing. She currently lives in Northern England on rural moorland on the edge of ancient woodland and shares her home with three mini-panthers (felis silvestris catus).
Since an early age, Ruth has been intrigued by the ancient world, folklore, myths and legends and explores the unknown. She started writing following a series of recurring dreams and has not looked back since. She has contributed to several projects including ‘The Dark Carnival: An Anthology of Horror’ which became Amazon number one best seller ‘horror anthology’.
Ruth has a passion for creative design and has worked with animal charities, environmental programmes and heritage groups, including South Lancashire Bat Group. She is also the creative backbone for Bríd’s Cross Brewing.
