These Terms & Conditions apply to all orders placed with Chiselbury Publishing, a trading imprint of Woodstock Leasor Limited (“we”, “us”, “our”).

By placing an order, you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions.

Registered in England and Wales
Company Number: 07482045
Registered Office: 14 Devonia Road, London N1 8JH

3. Products

We publish and sell books and related printed or digital materials.

All product descriptions are provided in good faith. Minor variations in design, paper, binding, or finish may occur between printings.

4. Pricing

All prices are shown in GBP (£) unless otherwise stated.
Prices include VAT where applicable (books are currently zero-rated for VAT in the UK; postage may not be).
Delivery charges are shown separately at checkout or on invoice.
We reserve the right to amend prices at any time, but changes will not affect orders already accepted.

5. Orders

An order is accepted once confirmed by email or invoice and payment has been received, unless otherwise agreed in writing.
We reserve the right to refuse or cancel an order due to stock availability, pricing errors, or inaccuracies in product descriptions.
If we cancel an order after payment, a full refund will be issued.

We generally hold at least five (5) copies of each title in stock. Orders exceeding this quantity, or orders for older or print-on-demand titles, may require additional copies to be sourced from our printer or supplier. This may take up to ten (10) working days.

6. Payment

Payment must be received in full before dispatch unless otherwise agreed in writing.

We accept payment by the methods specified at the point of sale, including card payment, bank transfer, or invoicing by agreement.

7. Delivery & Shipping

We deliver to most destinations worldwide.

Estimated delivery times will be advised at the time of purchase but are not guaranteed.

We do not deliver to PO Box addresses.
If delivery must be rearranged due to incorrect or incomplete address details, or for reasons not attributable to us, additional shipping charges may apply.
If an order is returned due to non-delivery or refusal, we reserve the right to require tracked shipping for future orders.

Risk passes to you once the order has been dispatched.

If an order arrives damaged, please notify us within seven (7) days of receipt.

8. Taxes & Duties

You are responsible for any import duties, taxes, or customs charges imposed by your country.

Please note:

1. Books are currently zero-rated for VAT in the UK.
2. We are not responsible for VAT, duties, or taxes payable under your country’s regulations where these could not be collected at checkout.
3. If goods are returned to us due to refusal or non-acceptance, any taxes or duties charged to us on re-import will be deducted from the refund.
4. Couriers may apply customs clearance or handling fees, which vary by country and are outside our control.

9. Cancellation, Returns & Refunds (Consumer Orders)

Right to Cancel

If you are a consumer purchasing at a distance, you have the right to cancel your order within 14 days of receiving the goods, in accordance with the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013.

Once an order has been dispatched, delivery cannot be stopped. This does not affect your statutory right to cancel and return the goods.

Returns

You must notify us in writing within 14 days of receipt to cancel.
Items must be returned unused, undamaged, and in a fully resalable condition.
Return postage is your responsibility unless the item is faulty or incorrect.

Refunds

Refunds will be issued within 14 days of receiving the returned goods.
Original outbound postage charges are non-refundable unless the item is faulty.

Exceptions:
Signed, personalised, or bespoke items are non-refundable unless damaged or faulty on receipt.

10. Faulty or Incorrect Items

If an item is faulty or incorrect, please contact us within seven (7) days of delivery.

We will offer a replacement or refund, including reasonable return postage.

Please contact: info@chiselbury.co.uk
Include your order number, photographs of the item, and a brief description of the issue.

11. Trade Customers – Sale or Return

Orders placed by recognised trade customers, including bookshops and wholesalers, are supplied on a sale or returnbasis unless otherwise agreed in writing.

Unsold stock may be returned within the agreed sale or return period.
Returned stock must be in fully saleable condition, including undamaged covers and spines and free from markings, labels, or stickers that cannot be cleanly removed.
We reserve the right to refuse or partially credit returns that are not in saleable condition.
Return postage is the responsibility of the trade customer unless otherwise agreed.
Credits will be issued once returned stock has been received and inspected.

Bulk orders, event stock, and signed or personalised copies supplied to trade customers are non-returnable unless faulty.

12. Digital Products (eBooks)

All sales of digital eBooks are final.

By completing your purchase, you acknowledge that:

Digital content is delivered immediately upon payment.
Once access has been provided, the content cannot be returned.
You expressly consent to immediate delivery and acknowledge that you lose your statutory right to cancel once delivery has begun.

If you experience a genuine technical issue preventing access, we will make reasonable efforts to resolve it by re-supplying the file or providing alternative access. This does not constitute a refund entitlement.
