PASSPORT TO PERIL

“Second instalment in the exploits of Dr Jason Love… Action, driven along with terrific vigour” The Sunday Times

“It whips along at a furious pace” The Sun

“A great success” Daily Express

Dr Jason Love, the country doctor turned occasional unwilling secret agent, has come to Villars with his supercharged Cord and every intention of avoiding danger. Then Ibrahim Khan is shot dead on the mountain, minutes after asking Love to help a twelve-year-old boy who is mysteriously losing his sight.

The boy’s father, the Nawab of Shahnagar, is an old wartime friend. When Love learns that Iqbal’s blindness began with a dazzling light high in the Himalayas, he travels to the remote principality to investigate.

Waiting for him are a demand for two million pounds, an international wildlife charity with dangerous secrets, and enemies who know his movements before he makes them. Somewhere in the frozen Karakoram, a weapon no doctor can cure is being prepared for its next victim.

From the ski slopes of Switzerland to the roads of Rawalpindi and the mountain passes of Pakistan, Love must survive assassination, betrayal and a conspiracy reaching far beyond one threatened child.

The second Jason Love thriller, a classic Cold War adventure of blackmail, espionage and murder.

Rediscover Dr Jason Love, created by James Leasor, one of Britain’s bestselling authors of the 1960s and 1970s.
